Electronic and digital pianos are available with a variety of essentials like 25 keys, 49 keys, 61 keys, 76 keys and 88 keys. The fewer keys pianos are cheaper and easier to use but a small number of notes and songs can be covered by it, and you may need to replace it after few months. On the other hand, full-size piano with 88 keys can be an excellent choice, but beginners may find it complicated and confusing. In this case, Piano with 61 keys is appropriate for the beginners as it allows the majority of essential notes and tunes for the beginners. So, it is necessary to go for a suitable piano which will allow a sufficient number of keys along with all the required notes and songs.

 

How Piano with 61 keys fits the beginners?

Many expert pianists suggest buying a 61-key piano for beginners. This type of keyboard has the fair number of keys which make sure that it will cover all the notes and song without any problem. Moreover, it is easy to use, and the size is comfortable. So you can play it smoothly. 61 keys piano is fun to use and play which allows the early learner to complete all the lessons without any complexity.

What will be the difficulties if beginners take 49-key or 88-key pianos?

49-key pianos are small and easy to use, but it is not appropriate for the beginners. As an early learner, you need all the essential note and song, but it won’t allow you to do that. Furthermore, less than 5 octaves piano like 49 keys piano has not enough keys, and it will make you feel like confined to some keys. 49 keys piano only allows to do some recording, it won’t do well for the beginners and after few months or maybe one year you have to take the stress replacing it for the shortage of proper keys.

88 keys pianos are perfect and provide all the essentials and tune. This type of keyboard will work best for the experienced pianists who are used to it, but as a beginner, it is a bit complicated. Beginners may find it difficult and confusing with so many keys. These pianos are like 5 feet long with heavyweight, and you won’t be able to carry it everywhere.

In a nutshell, while choosing a perfect piano for the beginners, keys are always an important issue to consider. In some way, keyboards that have 61 keys will do fine for the early learners compare to 49 cores and 88 keys.
